I'll have to try building an ally deck before I decide whether this card is any good. With some Kazuul Warlords this guy could be a lot of fun, though.

can be interesting in sealed/draft deck to activate your other allies, but in a standard deck this is the worse ally IMO since he doesn't have a abilities. In a standard deck, you have a limited number of card slot in your deck, so better use those slot with allies that actually bring an abilities of there own to your team in addition to activate and strengthen the abilities of the others. Yeah with the minotaur he will grow in power, with highlander he will get first strike, but instead of him, if you had let's say Kazandu blademaster, he would grow even faster since for each ally Kazandu would receive 2 counter on him (one from his own abilities and one from the minotaur ability)

At first I thought it was just a vanilla Artifact Creature, and that WoTC was just being conservative on the power curve by costing it {3} since it can be cast with any type of mana. Then I realized that it was an Ally. That's nice I guess. More support for Allies. It doesn't really do anything though.
The only thing I can think of this being useful in is a 5 color ally deck. But seriously, Kabira Evangel, Makindi Shieldmate, or Umara Raptor is better. They even cost the same cmc.

Its primary use is of course evading color problems, but since there are four other three-drops available, I would have strictly prefered this as one-drop similar to Metallic Sliver nonetheless. Ally tribal decks don't have a single creature for the first turn yet...

They should have called it Metallic Ally.

Useful as a flex ally. Not amazing, but fills the gap in a dual-color setup. Also helps avoid color protection in a mono deck.
**Update. I'm sold on this guy after using him extensively in a dual-colored ally deck. He manages to come out and save me from mana problems almost every game, and trips the abilities on his buddies like Talus Paladin and Bojuka Brigand.
He obviously isn't going to be slaying any dragons single-handedly, but if you're on a budget and looking for a "bridge" ally to round out a deck, he's a good pick.

2 things make it good, it's an ally, and it's colorless. The only problem is tht there are just so many better alternitives. Not bad in draft. Not good in constructed.

They should have made this a 2cc creature just like Runed Servitor. Or maybe put a little +1/+0 until end of turn trigger for itself.

This is a bad choice for constructed, but it was a pretty good common for Zendikar-block limited formats. Unfortunately, that means its time has passed.

Fills the {3} slot in your limited ally deck. With constructed, you should just add things that help your allies rather than... more allies.

As has been mentioned, allies don't have many good one drops (just Hada Freeblade I am pretty sure), so if you want to make a deck with enough variety in it then you will want to play at least two or three colours, if not four or five colours. If you are playing three, four or five colour allies (fun for casual play), and haven't amassed a sizable collection of rare multi-colour lands, then this little puma can fill a nice spot in your deck as a safe ally trigger. Besides, look how cute it is! ...for an artifact creature.
I like to play allies with totem armour, and this is as good a creature as any to slap a totem armour on. In fact allies, landfall, quests and totem armour can work nicely together, and are very flavorful. You probably don't need to overdo the ally effect in order to make a cool deck, even though the mechanic wants you to use as many as possible.

Works miracles with master transmuter and other allies. Bounce him use voltaic key. He might not have any ally abilities but his an artifact and can do some great artifact stuff around your allies.

Considering Scars, I wouldn't trust a machine more than a man. Darth Vader.

Someone please alter this too look like O'malley from aristocats
(I've always liked the Onulet, but wish it costed 2 instead of 3 mana...)
