Dear God. This has to be the worst lifegaining spell I've ever seen. Its only use will be in teaching new players why pure lifegain SUCKS. Well, if they play this card, they will surely grow to hate it... 0,5/5.

Abysmal. Why on earth was this brought out in the same set as Angel's Mercy, a card that is phenomenally better? If it gave you 2 life, I could understand it being good, but as it stands, it sucks horribly.

I'm not a big fan of this card due to the amount of mana it takes to bring it out, but it could be useful in a lifegain-centered deck... I'll give it 2/5 for that fact alone.

Could have a use lategame in a lifegain deck with a lot of land acceleration (e.g. for landfall effects). 2/5 for that, but I agree with the others that before Zendikar, practically worthless.

This is way overpriced I couldn't imagine ever using this. @mode you couldn't be more correct. Just sucks for whoever just recently started playing, I can't find anything before conflux alara shadowmoore at all

I find this card rather fancy. Saved me alot of times when playing 5-man FFA. At minimum it gained me 7 life, at max it gained me 12.
