Meant for casual multiplayer decks, where they provide a nice defense early and later on. Mostly unplayable in other formats.

Reasonably good blocker; compare to Traproot Kami.

Who are the 'People of the Wood'? Sounds like the creepy guys from "The Hills Have Eyes".

For 2 green and having been created way back in the Dark, this isn't a terrible card. I'd have to create a deck centered around having more land than my opponent to consider them, but still not terrible.

I certainly like the flavour of this better than Treefolk Seedlings, at least.

"Summon People of the Woods" makes me laugh. Not a terrible card, especially when you consider the set it is from.
Ah, another old amiably weird-normal Magic card :D I'd usually play Traproot Kami instead, but that's still an okay card and it combines nicely with Doran, the Siege Tower.
