This card is REALLY well planned out. Its a fog when you need it , and another card when you dont. This is a good fog effect.

Fog certainly makes more sense thematically in white.

Whilst cycling is a great addition, needing to leave 2 mana open is a massive hindrance. On the upside, this has a lot of synergy with Bant, which will end up with loads of tiny creatures on the defensive.

for eg. its my opponent's turn. he has 2 creatures.... a 3/3 n a 2/2... i have a 3/3 creature... he attacks.... i uses my 3/3 to block his 2/2... i end up taking 3 damage.... he uses seize the day ...he attacks again... i uses angelsong... prevent all combat damage dealt this turn.... so does he takes back his 2/2 creature from his graveyard or does angelsong effect works only during his second attack phrase???

the bad side of this is that it prevent all combat damage...not only yours so if you have 2/2 creature and the opponent attacks with 2/2 creature they both live wich is dum...if it was "Prevent all combat damage that would be deald to you or your permanents this turn" that would be super cool ....but it`s not

@ Haixian87

This card will not have any effect on combat damage that has already been dealt.

Good question though.

Great to throw in if the opponent goes into alpha strike and lets his guard down :D

@Iiory, there is a card that does that actually, but it costs 3. the idea behind this kind of card is to simply stall a turn if your decks slower than your opponents.

I use this instead card rather then cards like Fog or Holy day in my Isochron Scepter deck. I have to pay 2 mana to use the scepter anyway, and this gives me an option to cycle it if I need to, and lets me search for it with Muddle the Mixture.

I would generally prefer Dawn Charm. In exchange for losing cycling, you get more situations where it could be useful by itself.

One of the few cycler varients from Shards that's not only good, but great! Sure it's one more than fog, but you can leave the mana open for it or cycling, and then cycle it at the end of your opponent's turn if you didn't need it!

@tachiKC you can't actually cycle this using isochron scepter because the copy from the scepter goes straight onto the stack and you can only cycle something from your hand.
