This is an outstanding spell. Getting two for one card advantage and removing two creatures from play for only three mana is an incredible bargain. This spell plays best in an aggressive deck, like Suicide Black, where the loss of life is not as significant as removing blockers.

Is great because it targets black creatures, and works against graveyard recursion decks

Interesting, Reckless Spite is an instant but destroys two nonblack creatures. Not sure which one is better.
Nonartifact > Nonblack (I think). Exile > Destroy. Sorcery < Instant.

Excellent removal, especially for The Dark standards. How often does black get exile, anyway?

Hallow. Use it all the time in my black/white horror/rfg deck.

This card suits black perfectly. Plus I have a special place in my heart for Drew Tucker artwork. Outstanding card.

i used to love this spell. the 5 damage was totally worth it when you were using ivory tower, etc, and staring down a couple of creatures. however, you couldn't use it for mishra's factory, juggernaut, or any white knights or pump knights. that was the true drawback.

Oldschool black greatness. One of the few cards from its set that you'd still play today. The five is preventable damage rather than life loss as well.

Got this from the random card search, only four random cards after I got Dust to Dust. What are the chances, huh? ...hmmm, maybe I shouldn't be making long term plans.
