way overcosted.
the effect is a nice supplement to creatures with deathtouch, but with that amount of mana required it's not worth it.

Look carefully at the text box of this image and you'll see that someone must have left a strand of hair on the scanner plate when scanning it in.

Magic's first attempts at equipment were so bad, it's no wonder no one wanted to see them until Mirrodin. Still, it's better than Rakalite.

The art is actually pretty sweet, but the card is just awful. Even at a low cost, I couldn't see this being very useful.

I notice this thing can't even be used for defense; it ONLY works for the attack. (The high CMC, by the way? Probably to account for its reusability. Same idea for creatures of the time) This must be one bloodthirsty sword...

...Was it based on Dainsleif from Norse legend, then?
