A powerful burn card that deserve credit for its abilities... Irun this in my black/red blightning burndown deck... wen my opponent learned that i use this, he was so afraid to let his hand go 0... Fire is so powerful, especially wen it comes back for revenge in rekindled form...
This is also anti-hellbent and, to a certain degree, anti-madness.

I threw this in to a R/B discard deck I was prototyping, not knowing how powerful it would be. Now I'm replacing megrim with it. This card is great. Burn your creature, get it back, burn you, get it back. It's hilarious. 4.5 for psychological effect it has on my opponent.

A good friend of mine has an upkeep deck using Paradox Haze, Hondens, dual lands, and suspend cards, Braid of Fire, and several other mechanics. He also has Bottled Cloister to protect his hand during an opponent's turn, as well as draw insane amounts of cards each upkeep of his own.
Guess what I just pulled in a booster box? Hint: it can take out opponents with no cards in hand on my turn. :D

I think that candle is trying to plug its ears but alas, he has none.

I play it in commander. Four damage can take out a lot of creatures, or planeswalkers. And it will come back for free after a while.
