@sumbling1: He doesn't get the bonus whenever he's blocked he gets it whenever he attacks. Not blocking him would always result in you taking four damage. Works well with Sigil Captain but watch out for creatures with wither or infect.

Rather than lose a creature, I'd usually rather just take one damage. That's a pretty managable clock, especially considering that it doesn't even start until turn four.
EDIT: I need to RTFC; I thought it worked like Bushido for some reason. Now that I realize that it triggers off of attacking, the card seems a lot better.

Compare with Stampeding Rhino. This can't block as well, but it attacks with the same stats for two mana less!
