This card is excellent for T-Folk Tribal and make Doran, the Siege Tower +5 better.

why is this bad?
a 5/5 trampler for 4cmc is really good
a 5/5 trampler for 4cmc that makes all attacking creatures virtually un-killable is insane.

I know you people like to diss cards about the storm crow thing, but don't diss good cards like that.

could of said "strictly better than storm crow" and that would have been closer to the truth

I agree, the storm crow gag is gettin' old :/

Stellar for a treefolk deck. +5 power in a Doran Deck.

Champion a Treefolk Harbinger - not a big loss with the mana cost, and if this gets killed, the harbinger lets you find a replacement treefolk.

not my favorite champion but nothing to scoff at either.
I remember how funny my treefolk tribal deck was pre-Lorwyn but I never got into making one after it.

There are way better 4 drop treefolk that this card will compete with for a slot.
Dauntless Dourbark and Leaf-Crowned Elder to be specific.

Could be useful in tribal warrior to let you swing with reckless abandon.

This is underrated. No reason to not be in the 4.6 - 4.7 range. A 5/10 trampler that protects everyone else as well for 4?! The awesome Champion ability is hardly a drawback.

He's going to be the very best; like no one ever was.

And he is unstoppable.

I think DaaNz meant to say "that's not very stoppable"

i dig this guy. use a harbringer to fetch him so then you end up with a 5/5 trample that beefs up blocked creatures for 5 mana. plus when he dies the harbringer's ability triggers again so you can fetch another one of these....

The Lowryn block made treefolks the best and most overpowered tribe in MtG history. That is, until the eldrazi came along...

I dont know... I'd rather have a "10/10" that gives all other creatures "+5/+5 if their blocked" when I have a certain card out on the field, which happens to be 1 less cost then this....

granted it is WhiteBlackGreen, its a perfect curve for treefolk...

When you have Treefolk Harbinger in the play, his champion ability is more likely the great advantage than the drawback. And as a bonus you'll have Giant Warthog for negligible 4 mana, or even less with Bosk Banneret. This can't be much better.

people hate on this card because there are better 4 costed treefolk for treefolk tribal, but this card isn't just for decks that use doran.

put it in elf agro, tons of elf warrior and elf warrior tokens to champion, and once you do you can swing away with all your wimps every turn, it'll take a at least six damage to bring them down.

This card shines in weenie decks and warrior decks, not just treefolk decks IMO

Edit: @alphawolfs yeah i totally agree that with doran this card is insane, but treefolk just feels more fun for me in mono green than running 3 colors. obviously though, this plus doran = win condition.

with Doran, the Siege Tower it's basically Rampage 5 but better.
