I have this in my Chorus of the Conclave EDH deck. It's really funny when you remove 5+ counters from it and get 5+ lands. Ramp ftw!

block something with it, remove bothy counters. at least it is a ramp spell that blocks, at most you make it bigger with blessings of nature/nature's blessing (funny, huh?) and have a lot of fun. 4.5/5.

Proliferate mechanic to help him get bigger and to let you use his ability more often! I always find it funny when they have effects like this that have target player...
I guess you could get an opponent to search their library to trigger Archive Trap or get a +1/+1 counter on Cosi's Trickster.
