That may be true, but its enchantment destroying capabilities plus Persist has allowed me to use it effectively in a casual environment.

Ugh. This card wants to be good, but it costs way too much to be useful. If they had cut the flying and made him cost 3 or 4CMC he would have been quite a bit better. 2/5

I think this card can be pretty useful. Try it with Melira, Sylvok Outcast / Juniper Order Ranger, Mana Echoes, Enchanted Evening and Farrelite Priest, and you can wipe your opponent's board, so long as you have another Wizard or Kithkin in play.
