I've never seen anyone successfully use her to win a game - but she's pretty fun anyway!

Man, love that high loyalty and steady pinging. Also, I've always been a fan of Skirk Fire Marshal, and it's even better to have the ability not affect you. I like to imagine Chandra perceiving every nerve ending in your opponent's body and then mentally setting them all on fire. FWOOM

She is probably the most common planeswalker... but pretty neat. It is nice that she comes in with so much loyalty, but she is also pretty expensive. If you are able to hold her around til you reach the ultimate, you should be able to win.

Just got her today and loving her already. High loyalty and pretty good abilities. Not that hard to use her ultimate, as far as they go.

Awesome card but I have a soft spot for my first booster planeswalker, Chandra Ablaze.

I run her in {R}/{U} with a couple Clockspinnings I had for other reasons and Lotus Blooms...one of the more fun combos is "cast, Clockspinning w/ buyback, Clockspinning without buyback, third ability" for {6}{R}{R}{U}{U} and two cards. Sure the cost is kinda steep, but it's hilarious in the late game or if I draw two Blooms and have nothing more productive to do with them.

I went to my local card shop, hoping to buy a Chandra Ablaze. While he didn't have any of Ablaze, he did have Chandra Nalaar. Slightly disappointed, but still wanting a planeswalker for my burn deck, I went ahead and bought her. I went to play Magic with my friends later that day, and laid down a Quest for Pure Flame and then got it to 4 counters when I got her to 8 counters for her ultimate. My opponent healed himself to 21 life, grinning because he could kill me next turn, and I couldn't kill him on mine. I drew a Blaze, hit him for just one with it, sacced my Quest, and used Chandra's ultimate to burn him from 20 to 0 in one go.
I don't think I've ever felt more stupid about being disappointed about something. Chandra Nalaar = Best original planeswalker, hands down.

Classic, powerful, beautifully designed. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use the -X ability, but once she hits ultimate...game over.

My first (and only) planeswalker. Pulled her from Lorwyn, but I was playing a mono-white kithkin deck, so I traded it for a Mark of Asylum. That was the best trade I ever made.

While her Planeswalker cards are usually interesting, I hate Chandra for being the most one-dimensional of the neo-walkers, personalitywise. What's her personality? She burns stuff. And she's not even a cool or interesting pyromaniac, like Jaya Ballard. She's the most boring kind of pyromaniac one could design.

With proliferate she nails her ult in a single turn. +1 when she drops, proliferate with volt charge to the face, 10 more to the face after that!
The -X is pure card advantage if you have the right targets for it; and nuking a utility creature here and there or picking at planeswalkers is indeed worthwhile.
