Disenchant is one of the best white removal cards, and made white control a very viable game strategy. In the early days of White Weenie, decks were less aggro and more control based - relying on cards like Swords to Plowshares, Disenchant, Balance, and Wrath of God to keep the board clear. Disenchant was more versatile than Shatter or Crumble, being able to also destroy enchantments, at virtually no extra cost.

Still one of the all-time best cards for what it does. This is a virtual requirement in any deck I build with white. Its instant speed, versatility and low casting cost all combine to make a hugely effective and efficient spell.

Never was a fan of this art. Disenchant is a great card. I usually pack 4 in any white deck and board them out if I dont see any good targets.
