Circle of Protection: Green serves the same basic role as Circle of Protection: Blue. It gives you protection from green's big, bad creatures: Force of Nature, Craw Wurm, Ironroot Treefolk - none of them can get through a timely COP: Green. Don't forget that this can also protect you from Hurricane, whether cast by your opponent or by you.

Wow... people clearly never played Revised with this card. A score of under 2? What? This thing is hugely powerful, and can single-handedly prevent your opponent from doing anything to you.
As a sideboard card, this thing is devastating. There are even combos that you can run to effectively main-deck it, particularly if you're pairing with Blue and using color-changing spells like Sleight of Mind.
