Ha yes, a staple in every mono green (and even found in a splash of green decks as well). Obviously I'm dating my self when I talk about this card. As I look at the card now CMC 5 for a 3/5 doesn't seem like a good trade nowadays.

There was a copy of this card at my mother's house when I was growing up. I had no idea what it really meant as a kid. Later in life I remembered that the card was still in the attic with some books. I asked my sister to retrieve it only to find out it was this. Sadface.

Strictly worse than it. And unlike many instances in which the terms "strictly" are used, the creature type remains constant.
