The White Paladins destroy permanents of the apprpriate color, only destroying creatures means the Black Paladins arn't as good.

7th Edition had a theme, almost a story even, of the feud between the northern paladin and the southern paladin against the eastern paladin and western paladin.
Not sure who wins but I'm @ssuming it's the pentarch paladin.

I made my friend a deck with this and the four other paladins and a bunch of knights like kinsbale cavalier. I regret it to this very day. It destroys my Esper deck horribly.
