To me, one of the best draw spells out there. Though, it is hard to choose what i would prefer reprinted. This or Concentrate

I don't like blue draw Sorceries in general, but I gotta admit, 4 cards is a lot. You just gotta be very careful when to cast this, or you might be sorry. 3,5/5.

I like this card, but would prefer it to be reprinted.

Instant-speed Opportunity might be better, but it is targeted.

This card is huge, and is classic blue. 4 cards for 5CC? This can save you in late game, and provide badly needed resources in a close match.

Never run a play-set of this card, it costs too much and the sorcery speed really takes it down. Run two at most - you don't want to draw another copy when you play the first one since you're desperate for resources, and playing the second takes up even more time than playing the first (you really have to devote a turn to this card, which can give your opponent an opportunity to strike back before you use your newly drawn cards).

I don't know, there are many better options than this imho. I mean it's better than the draw in standard, but... draw in standard sucks. For one mana more you get opportunity. I like it more for it's instand-speed and that you can hit teammates with it in team games. And for one less you get fact or fiction which is obviously superior to tidings in about everything. There is also deep analysis which I think is better than tidings. And... well... a few other cards. So tidings is not bad, but unless you have only a tiny collection, I'd play something else.

deep analysis is censored? They censor the word ***, but not damn or bastard?

"Funner" isn't a word. And stop capitalizing every word in your comments.
This card is great when you're low on cards. I love it but I promised my friends I would limit myself to M10 and newer cards to make the game more fair for them (I spend a lot more money then they do on MTG). I really want this reprinted in M11.

I play this with High Tide in a casual mono control since this helps leave mana open for counterspells so you aren't completely vulnerable due to having lost a turn to play this.

other than ancestral recall, this is probably the most efficient card draw, so yea, 4.5/5

In any deck majoring in blue, I make sure to have atleast two of these in it. If nothing else, it is sure to refill my hand mid/late game. If I'm running UG though, I try hard to make room for four.

So, according to flavor text, he gains more knowledge than Jace's Ingenuity, Ancestral Recall, Ancestral Visions, Divinations and Development JUST by looking at peoples' faces? And looking at a person's face takes the energy equivalence of Force of Will? Man, Barrin has got to be the Chuck Norris of mind mages in the multiverse.

Provided your opponent can't stomp you on the turn you play this, you'll probably draw into an answer to whatever you failed to counterspell anyway.

Man, this card will give you so much ammo after you run out of steam. Lets say you tap out to use this, next turn you will have 5 fresh cards in your hand.
None of these are strictly better or strictly worse than another. So choose which one you want.

I absolutely love cracking one of these in EDH. It just feels so good to draw four cards. And the Promo art with the "message" in the bottle is simply stunning.

The textless player rewards version of this is unbelievably beautiful. I also bought one aftermarket for 0.50 USD because this isn't tournament worthy. I wish the rewards cards were in gatherer.
Five mana is a lot sure, and sorcery speed kind of sucks for blue control, but its hard to argue with the power of four cards. It just feels great to cast, especially in casual multiplayer where five mana isn't as restrictive.

Concentrate: 4 mana sorcery, 3 cards.
Tidings: 5 mana sorcery, 4 cards.
Jace's Ingenuity: 5 mana instant, 3 cards.
Opportunity: 6 mana instant, 4 cards.
