Every white deck has a set of these in it. I never liked the prospect of one card symbolizing an entire color class... oh well; I guess token decks need it.

Great enhancer, and provides significant power to aggressive creature decks. The 1WW mana cost means it will mostly be played in white weenie decks but with cards like Infest and Volcanic Fallout it pulls almost any 2 drops out of death range. Kudos on the art as well.

Excellent, yet with the coming of honor of the pure, it's gonna leave the mono white decks, in which it was at its best. It's sad, 'cause it was an emblematic card for many players.

Honor of the pure is better for mono-white. Gaea's Anthem for green. But if you are playing , , , or this card is still really useful. A great card in its own right. 4.5/5

One of the most flavorful cards in Magic's white history. Very sad to see it go. One of many reasons i have stuck to Legacy since 2005. Oh, i got old as well. Grow up, magic players, playing this game Standard every year is a waste of money for the 99th percentile of players.

allmighty_abacus the more powerfull or cheaper versions of this are all quiet narrow this still sees play. And narrow cards should be more powerfull then card you can use in any deck anyway.

I'm betting it will see a reprint as a more splashable {2}{W} somewhere down the line. Very useful card for multicolor decks, and perfect for core sets.
@ krypnyt: too funny, man. I am going to sing that song obnoxiously every time I bring this out now. And when I win I will stand up out of my chair and sing the whole song while doing repetitive little kick jumps with my fist in the air.
