It's a bit hard to tell, but she's wearing the amulet Ali is holding in Ali from Cairo. She's also wearing the same hat, which is a bit more obvious.

This thing just saved my rear against a guy. Her + Akroma, Angel of Fury = I won with 1 life left. Duded was pretty ***ed.
ANYways, this card is good, great ability, decent creature types, but i think it's over costed unless you cast it with it's morph cost. Good flavor as well, and Christopher Moeller is always a good artist.

Can get it out turn four, and if your opponent doesn't have removal or life loss, you will make it so they cannot win the game the most common way, through combat. While this is unlikely in oturnaments and serious players, in casual playgroups it is not unheard of. Not bad, and it requires an answer.

I love this as removal bait. Run it in a deck with Willbender: Your opponent can't just nuke all morphs because Willbenders will throw their kill spells back at their own stuff, and U/R means you can run things like Swerve for once the Thief is face up and opponents try to remove it.

so does this cards effect last as long as it is on the playing field? I am new to magic and last time I played my friend(who is experienced) I used the ability once and the next turn I lost with the card still on the playing field.
Effect is somewhat weaker than the likes of Platinum Angel's, but being able to trap your opponent with Morph makes up for it.

This card references Ali from Cairo as is part of a rare cycle of creatures that use Morph in an interesting "gotcha" way; the others being Liege of the Pit, Weathered Bodyguards, Thelonite Hermit, and Vesuvan Shapeshifter.
