awesome, land with scry = awesome,
however the comes into play tapped clause is detrimental especially in white,
it has limited and edh potential but beyond that there sin't anything to add.

A land with Scry is great, and people who enjoy thematic decks will love the inclusion of the oft-mentioned Benalia.
Probably underrated, especially since it has strong combo-capabilities.

Nice, but really should be scry 2.

Sounds like a decent land. At the very least it'll prevent you from topdecking something bad. The cip tapped sucks though, so maybe run about 2.

white...?

Well, they wouldn't make it strictly better than a plains, now would they? As long as it's nonlegendary, EVERY white deck would run 4. That, I bet, is why most legendary lands CIP untapped.

Good for mono-white control decks which don't have access to things like Preordain.

This is definitely the Future Sight of the Zendikar common spell-lands. I'm surprised because according to the development articles for Zen, the common spell-lands weren't added in their current form until near the end of development, yet this card shows that the idea had been around for a while.

I wish it were just legendary and came in untapped Also scry 2 but that might be pushing it (same for the rest of the cycle)

I only just noticed that this is the only one from its cycle that didn't use one of the Ravnica keywords: Tolaria West: Transmute, from Dimir Dakmor Salvage: Dredge, from Golgari Keldon Megaliths: Hellbent, from Rakdos Llanowar Reborn: Graft, from Simic
It seems odd that they'd set up that symmetry, and then break it-- They could have given this Forecast, or Haunt, or Radiance (Convoke wouldn't really make sense, on a land).

@sonorhC: I agree. Here's my idea.
Forecast - , Reveal New Benalia from your hand: Add to your mana pool. Until end of turn, this mana does not empty from your mana pool as steps and phases end. (Activate this ability only during your upkeep and only once each turn.)

@syrazemyla: Hrm...I kinda like it. But perhaps we could combine the mechanics this land already has?
Forecast - , Scry X
I only use X 'cause I can't think of any particular number, but still. I like the idea of a land you don't play.

In casual games this is not a bad card at all. Scry 1 for coming into play tapped is just fine. In the right deck, and arguably in most decks this is not a real drawback at all.
This is the worst from its cycle, and strictly worse than the Theros scrylands. I think this would be limited playable if it scryed 2, but at scry 1 lots of times it doesn't do a thing.

I think this should have been reprinted in theros instead of the dual scry lands. They only made the dual scry lands in Gatecrash colors, so approximately half of 2 color decks can't use them. Single scry lands would work just as well, and could be printed as commons instead of rares.

Strangely enough, this is getting reprinted in Commander 2013. Then again, I don't see ANY Theros cards in that product, let alone any Born of the Gods previews (which is where we're going to see the WU and GW temples), so I don't think they had any valid way to swap this.
Of course, this being in the Bant deck, I strongly suspect that many players will be swapping it out for Temple of Mystery first chance they get.

Play alongside Halimar Depths if you want to go deep!
