The first ability is good if your opponent has a really annoying 1/1 in play, like Essence Warden or similar, but isn't useful overall if you don't have a lot of Slivers. None of them are, really.

More useful pre M2010.

This card was apparently inspired by Goblin Legionnaire. I'm glad they did not carry over the abilities identically.

And AlphaNumerical is right, given that you can't both deal combat damage and still sac this creature (despite the fact that it was dealt lethal damage), this card used to be more powerful.

good efficiency but not a great ability

I don't like it. That's about anything I could say about it. The abilities cost is too high for what it does.

Seems much of creature of Boros guild than classic Sliver. Its selfdestruction doesnt fit into prebuilt decks, but with Brood Sliver or Sliver Queen have a bit of sense :).

I don't really think that paying one mana and sacrifising one Sliver is worth dealing one damage to an opponent... I'd rather use Acidic Sliver.

Oh how useful this thing could'a been...
Even pre-M10, this guy is underwhelming. Slivers are supposed to be a touch stronger than this guys.

Should've been {1}{(R/W)} and had: If {W} was used to play this card, All Slivers have {1}: Sacrifice this permanent, prevent 1 damage that would be dealt to target Sliver or Player this turn. If {R} was used to play this card, All Slivers have {1}; Sacrifice this Permanent, deal one damage to target creature or player. (Do both if both were used.)

Its second ability is confusing. Does it only prevent damage to Sliver players?
