One of the many slivers that padded Time Spiral Block...

Likely the worst of all slivers.
A plain 3/3 artifact creature for wouldn't have been powercreep either, even though it had a useful creature type in this case. At least i can't remember Hill Giant ever having been a big threat.
I throw a couple of these in my affinity for artifacts deck in case of surprise slivers. It's expensive, but at 3/3 has higher base stats than most slivers. It's still not -good-, but as an anti-sliver it's passable.

Oh Venser... Why couldn't you make something useful instead?

And this is a perfect example of why Venser wasn't able to withstand the Phyrexians.

@Richard_Hawk...I know I probably shouldn't...but I've been waiting for an excuse to run this design by some people, so here goes:
Urza's Sliver 0 Mythic Rare Artifact Creature- Sliver Ally Slivers you control have: T: If target player controls a creature with Infect, sacrifice your soul, then search your library for any number of spells and cast them without paying their mana costs.(You lose the match, but at least you destroyed Phyrexia. Unless they play Stifle. In which case you sacrificed your soul for nothing. But you're Urza so you don't care. It's Phyrexia. THEY MUST DIE FOR WHAT THEY MADE YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 1/1
Bang. Makes Ornithopter and Memnite cry in their obsoleteness. Probably the most broken creature type that can still make any flavor sense. xD

He's the thing about Venser's Sliver: It doesn't benefit other slivers. Now, why might that be relevant?
Think about it for a sec. When would you not want to benefit other slivers?
Got it yet? When you're going against a Sliver deck. Venser's Sliver is a 3/3 Sliver which does nothing to other slivers and can be put in any other sliver deck. While I certainly agree he'd be fine at , or as a 4/4, he's not a one star critter people. Chimney Imp is a one star creature.

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card. Specifically, each Sliver in Time Spiral and Planar Chaos derive their ability from a previously printed card.
This Sliver is referencing a previous sliver, Metallic Sliver, only larger. The Venser referenced here is Venser, Shaper Savant, a powerful artificer who, like Volrath the Fallen before him, was attempting to use an artificial sliver to study the way the sliver hive mentality worked. During the events of Time Spiral block, his planeswalker spark ignited; he would later appear as Venser, the Sojourner.

This card slots into the sideboard of any deck to help deal with Slivers... what's not to like? This isn't your win-con, it's your opponent's tech!!

@Veldalken_Arbiter You got your wish in Magic 2014 in the form of Silver Construct. It still sucks though
