use this in a combo with a stuffy doll. It limits the amount of creatures that can attack you to only 2 and all you need is 2 stuffy dolls to be your permanit blockers and you can bleed them to death.

assuming the two attackers arent flyers or have shadow or something and yea the stuffy dolls should be just fine. definetly not a bad card for slowing down the pace of the game against a creature based deck while you get set up.

Indeed a great tool against aggro decks. I'm actually surprised this never got reprinted since then. It isn't on the reserved list, but possibly Wizards refrained from including it in a Core Set since they considered it to be a fun killer. That's at least one aspect they kept in mind when designing the latest couple of Cycles.

You know what would be fun? Having Odds//Ends on an Isochron Scepter with this in play. Sure, just sticking a fog effect on the stick would have the same effect more easily, but the above combo is just deliciously evil.

This is a great card exceptly when you have no or little creatures. This helps my burn deck against token spam and goblin rushs.

Really usefull card. Combine it with the vigilance ability and you can take car of anything coming your way. A must.
