aren't cards that let you put saprolings into play usually green or black fungi? a white human that puts saprolings into play doesn't make sense.

I can't tell if the people who responded to this card are retarded or not.
@DaaNs This is a white 2 drop compared to a green 5 drop. Further, Mycoloth is only good if you have stuff to sac for it and IMO it's better to just overrun rather than get 10-for-1'd because you devoured all your creatures.
@vrihet You mean, you can never die if they don't kill mycoloth. That must mean that they either don't have bigger creatures or have no removal/pseudo-removal.

If this was a fungus, a real fungus I would consider adding white to my fungus deck, just because it would be cool

Just like how I wish Essence Warden was a fungus, even if it said "this card isn't affected by fungus effects" and was a 0/1, I just WANT MORE FUNGUS in my deck *shove shove*

Who does a Mycoloth see when she's expecting? A Gymycologist (Terrible joke) This card rightly and truly sucks MOST OF THE TIME. In the right deck it could work
Unlike elvish farmer though, this guy is a Mycologist. Mycologists are supposed to be very good at what they do. From a flavor, (and maybe playability) standpoind, he should have put out saprolings more efficiently than a non-sentient thallid.. maybe 2 for a 1/1 or 3 for 2 1/1s.
