fun with spined and two headed, good stacking ability for one, like plated sliver.

In general a good sliver but I was curious would two of them double the flanking? I think it may because you would read two instances of the blocking creature getting -1/-1. If I'm right this sliver just got better.

@ blindcansee Flanking does stack, if 2 of these are in play, both instances of flanking go off and the blocking creature gets -2/-2.
Its a nice 1-drop. This and Spined Sliver are helpful is you end up against a sliver deck.

good 1-drop for slivers
in fact, even if this wasn't a sliver and just had regular flanking, it would be an alright 1-drop

Another sliver this combos really well with is Hunter Sliver. By giving them provoke, you can choose what creature is going to block your sliver and get -X/-X. Having trouble taking out an indestructible fatty like Darksteel Colossus? Put an Entangler on him and force it to block several slivers. And Suppression Field can lend a hand for pesky creatures that always want to tap when you untap them. If only I had an angle for using it to take out elves...
I would be remiss to not mention Cavalry Master if you're going for a cool flanking angle...
So, basically Samurai Sliver, more or less? Awesome.

@ Achillesbow:
Not strictly. What if your opponent is playing slivers? :P

Best buds with fellow too-good one-drop Plated Sliver.

@Etregan: If by good against a sliver deck you mean that it won't count against you, I suppose you have a point. Because al slivers will have flanking, the flanking won't even matter. Flanking matters only if the defending creature doesn't have flanking.

I have a friend who often gets a least one of these and at least one Spined Slvier out which makes blocking incredibly hard

I love the flavor of this card. Four of them can just be chillin sippin root beer while their buddy flanks a dragon to death by himself. Without ever fighting it. (by that I mean it never enters combat, the dragon just says "whelp, I have been so badly flanked I may as well kill myself" and dies)

Four white mana for a total -4/-4 on attacking. Nothing like watching your slivers wipe out entire troops of elves in the morning.

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card. Specifically, each Sliver in Time Spiral and Planar Chaos derive their ability and mana cost from a previously printed card.
This Sliver is referencing Mtenda Herder and even makes reference to that card's flavor text in its own flavor text:
From Mtenda Herder: "All animals—even humans—can be herded. The trick is to make them think they choose their own destination." —Mangara

The Slivers have grown so powerful they've invaded the reminder text.
