That might look like a silly winged contraption, but don't be fooled.
It's actually a ninja.

Another card that I've seen in action a whole mess of times. 1/1 flyers will get really tired of bumping into these, lol.
Great because of its low cost and evasion, always a solid little drop in the early game. Clearly at its best when utilizing a boost from something like Steel Overseer.

I like this card. Whenever I see my opponent in a draft or sealed tournament, I know I won the round.

This card, is no mere card. Ornithopter is a god! Ornithopter's power is unimaginably great, and simply using and thinking of Ornithopter a just a magic card is blasphemy! Ornithopter is, quite simply, the best card printed. Because Ornithopter transcends the game, and can rule throughout your life! Accept Ornithopter as the one true god!

This was his first creation, though he stole the idea.

Why is this a creature? In The Brother's War, it was used as a vehicle.

This is my favorite art for this card; the sillier it looks, the more hilarious it is when it gets used for devastating trickery (or just picks up a Ronin Warclub and smacks someone in the face with it).
Sadly, every artist to tackle this card since has made the ornithopter look like something I'd actually take seriously. Boo.

I'm pretty sure the card art only depicts a drawing of Urza's "creation" because the actual thing doesn't work.
