This wording combos with R&D's Secret Lair. So it's not all bad.

Apparently, the artist thought that this was supposed to be a Shuriken. I can see the flavour already:

"HOLD UP, GONNA HEAL YOU!" *Throws weapons at his friend*

This is basically an early version of Borderlands.

This, like the whole cycle of life gain artifacts from Revised, is horribly underpowered. But of all of them, Iron Star may actually be the most useful. Red decks of the day were all about low-cost creatures and cheap burn. Mons Goblin Raiders were running amok, Lightning Bolts were flying, and Atogs were grinning like mutant Barney the Dinosaurs on crack. Hands were being refilled with Howling Mines and Wheel of Fortunes, and the only thing these aggressive decks sucked at was recovering a point or two of life. Enter Iron Star, which makes any old Lighning Bolt a mini-Lightning Helix, and which can make your goblins more than an ugly roadblock. They become an ugly roadblock with a cheeseburger. Which they give to you. Which... gives you... one life. -_- Where was I? Oh, yeah, plus you can sacrifice the Star to your hungry Atogs to finish off your opponent.

@Ace8792 - Did you just say Dragon Claw was a good card?
