only benefit? an unusually beefy human for your human tribal deck.

Why in the world would they reprint this in Time Spiral.

1. 4/5 for 5cc. Poor mana trade off.
2. No abilities whatsoever.
3. Requires two colors.

It's a pretty awful card. It's just mediocre for a vanilla creature, but if it requires two colors, it should at least have an ability. Furthermore, legendary vanilla creatures are just horrible. Legendary creatures should have interesting flavor and interesting abilities. She has pretty good flavor, but it's squandered on a bad, boring creature.

The art is good though, I can give it that.

Best comment I ever read about her? "I was hoping that Jasmine would get the creature type Ninja".

Still better than Tobias Andrion, which isn't saying much.

Timeshifted was a good excuse to put out this more vibrant version of the art on the washed out Legends Jasmine.

Looks like Mox Lotus in her hand...

Surprisingly good in those weird limited Time Spiral draft decks. A big body, and not so cluttered with mana symbols that it was actually castable.

I wish there was a way to give this card negative stars.....

There was something awesome about when I once saw an EDH game where she was the general and her deck proceeded to open up a one-sided can of whoopass on an Ob Nixilis, the Fallen deck. No true, old-school, kitchen table mtg player can help but smile at that.

Well well...would you look at her being all sexy while doing nothing and expecting us to pay for her.

@Paleopaladin - You can make a solid deck with her as the commander. Do an anthem-style setup with lots of effects buffing all your creatures and some Selesnya token generator. Why isn't Rhys the Redeemed a better option? Simple: Muraganda Petroglyphs and commander damage.

I assume this has three reasons:
* To show that, despite the fact that some of the most broken cards are from the oldest sets,
some others are ridiculously underwhelming by today's standards.
* To put some suckage between otherwise great Timeshifted cards.
* The art.

Her weakness?
Presumably athletic, defined men with a power of 5 or greater... or anything that powerful, for that matter.
