If your thinking of firebreathing in your deck take a second look at this card!

I made this R/W combo using greater auramancy+ this, to make creatures shrouded for 3 mana anytime :P
(Red to unsummon and 1Red to flash-shroud)

Funny to use in multiplayer because you can enchant any creature and give it shroud and +1/0

As far as firebreathing effects, this isn't a terrible one! Ability to flash it in and use it as a combat trick (goes well with first strike/indestructibility), then bounce it to your hand when the enchanted creature is going to bite it is definitely a big bonus over the traditional Firebreathing enchantment.

Cute. Is a red infect deck possible in Modern? Let's find out.

For 1 mana more then firebreathing, you get flash and the ability to save the aura in a pinch.

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Crown of Flame which itself references Firebreathing. Crown was part of a cycle of auras that could return to your hand (Shimmering Wings, Shackles, Whip Silk, Crown of Flames, Mourning)

He looks as if he wasn't expecting that to happen.

now, if i under stand this right, it CAN'T do this:

declare attackers, a 3/2, a 1/1, and a 2/1
declare blockers, a 0/4, a 2/2, and a 3/3 respectively

attacking player flashes in firebreathing, buffs the 3/2 to 4/2
returns it to hand
flashes it in again and buffs the 1/1 to a 2/1
returns it to hand
flashes it in again and makes the 2/1 a 3/1
then combat resolves with the defender losing all creatures (and if played better the enchantment would end on the 3/2)

I hope this would work, but i believe it does not, because as soon as the enchantment leaves the creature its "enchanted creature gets...." is now no longer in effect, and the 4/2 reverts back into a 3/2.
please someone correct me....
