Fun with the white lorwyn merfolk, they love being tapped.

The additional effect and flashback cost are referring to Hand of Justice.

A bit hard to use against some decks, and absolutely backbreaking against others.

I woudn't play it. But John Avon has got to be one of my favorite artists. All my lands in any deck I build are his. Thing is, I don't plan that; I just pick the lands I like best. They just so happen to be John Avon.

Interesting draft option. Really makes you want to try monowhite.
You could try it with Even the Odds in-block and Timely Reinforcements out of block.

An obnoxiously effective card for a common.
They don't get to attack with their creatures the same turn they use this, but they get to play a land, and take out a critical threat in the same turn.
It can mess you up pretty badly, and having it come back to bite you late game, when they have more creatures to spare, is no favor to me.

If your opponent is playing this card, you need to keep the pressure on, and trade as early and often as possible.
If you do it right, they will not have the creatures to play this in the first place.

First off, dayum. That is some amazing art.
Second, I have no complaints about this card whatsoever. The initial casting is fair, trading offense for a single burst of removal, but the second casting is hilarious. Suddenly, another one of their beatsticks is gone. Excellent.
Third, this combos marvelously in block with Marshaling Cry. Swing with your creatures, then tap 'em after combat for mop-up. Repeat later with both spells. Viola, any major threat that isn't combat related should be removed.

This is a decent card with mono white tokens I guess. The flashback cost is steep, but being able to exile two creatures with one card is amazing for a common, and your opponent can't stop your creatures from tapping because it's an additional cost.
If you like this card, you should take a look at Unmake (keeping it common). It's 3 mana and doesn't have flashback, but it doesn't require you to tap your creatures.

Fair, but the cost can be a bit heavy. Clearly designed with draft in mind. And it's great for draft I'm sure.

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Hand of Justice and is presumably the spell he casts all the time (possibly why it has flashback?)

I'm really starting to like this card in my Exalted deck. Bunch of 1/1's hanging back there on defense, it's not like they were going to block anything...

Sorcery speed is whats killing it for me. But at least can combo with vigilance? And flashback can close some games later.

Hmmm.... Gaze of Justice... Light of Judgement... that art...

I'm detecting Kefka references! Any FF6 fans wanna back me up?
