Evil Eye decks are down right mean. By themselves, yes, they suck. A single mountain in a white deck sucks too, but only an idiot would put it there.

I had an old Evil Eye / Juggernaut deck. Every creature in the deck either could not be blocked by walls or could only be blocked by walls. It limited people's blocking options.
I'm glad that, so far, WOTC hasn't changed the Rules as Written to reflect the change from Walls to creatures with Defender. All walls have defender, but not all creatures with defender are walls.
It still would make more sense to me if creatures like Juggernaut destroyed any wall that blocked them as it was made to smash down walls.

Am I the only one who finds this name hilarious?

The only other Eye out there is Evil Eye of Urborg and that wasn't printed until this was reprinted. My only guess is they made it 'Non-Eye' to prevent conflicts if you cloned or played multiples.

This isn't a joke card? Who in the world is Orms-by-Gore? Evil eye? Reminds me of that Shel Silverstien poem.

One night, I was at the bar a bit later than usual. When I got home I saw that my girlfriend, who plays magic, taped two of these to the door. I was terrified, but I went in anyway, only to find that my other two copies were taped to the bedroom door. I slept on the couch that night and never stayed out late again. It was definitely an effective punishment. Stupid girls and their evil eyes.

Orms-by-Gore sounds like a product-line.

Definitely running an Evil Eye / Changeling deck, along with 4 Skeletal Changeling.
Attack - Evil eye is nigh-unblockable, and Skeletal Changeling can too (counts as an eye). Defense - Legerdermain their best creature in exchange for an Evil Eye. Skeletal can block, 'cause it counts as a wall too.
I'm glad they didn't stick to the orignal, "Creepy Peeper of Orms-by-Gore."

That and Evil Eye of Urborg and Skeletal both work great with Nemesis Mask. Blocking will never be the same again!
