I love this card! It was pretty much my first rare that I ever opened in a pack!
When it comes into play it is probably a 7/7 trampler or higher. Compare it to Duskdale Wurm.

A good card if used in the right deck for it. Although it'll end up probably a 7/7 or higher in most decks, if your deck is full of Wirewood Elves and Moss Diamonds you may want to find a replacement.

This is my favorite card in magic for the memories it gave me. Back in invasion, this won me a lot of games in my casual play group back in highschool. Fun times.

I would normally consider Drove of Elves to have eclipsed this, but one thing stops that- trample.
EDIT: Actually, Scratch that. I didn't realise forests weren't actually green, as far as cards were concerned. Whoops.

Good card for Power Green Decks. Works even better with Blanchwood Armor (imagine this with 2 B.A.) or Gaea's Embrace. And Drove of Elves is good, but the trample ability can be the last thing the opponent is about to see. One of my favorites, too.

Compare to Pelakka Wurm, and it doesn't look so good. Still good for landfall.
Easily has one of the greatest potentials of a trampler ever. Especially in a ramp deck, very, VERY quickly becomes a hilariously powerful threat.

I can't believe no one has mentioned this but: Boundless Realms

Back in Tenth, they printed two legendary creatures for each color. They were all fairly simple, generally not incredibly powerful but still good enough to be gems in new players' casual decks. Take Molimo: Cool ability which fits well with Green's land-getting abilities, but really just a big, strong beatstick. A fun card and good way to learn the power of Terror.
Nowadays we're seen quite a few legends that are designed to either act as EDH Generals or to go straight into competitive decks. Whether that's a good or bad thing (or even a new thing) is another discussion, for another day.
