I'd go with Wind Drake over this, but if you're playing black, Kelinore Bats is generally better.

It's so weird to see how design played out back in the day. You had some cards with just insane power, like Intuition, Yawgmoth's Will, and Tolarian Academy, and then you had stuff like this that just makes you ask, "What were they thinking?"

Not much of a drawback really. black doesn't get fliers as much as blue or white. Usually if its targeted it will also die, and you lose one life. Not a big deal, and a 2/2 evasion is a pretty solid body. Its not the best option black has, but its not an awful card.
