Awesome art, and a free shock if you play it correctly. Not very efficient but defiantly a fun card for Izzet block play.

would like it if it was a 2/3

This guy was great in Ravnica-block limited. Cheers to wild contradictions.

Only 3 Weirds in the game. WotC should print more of them. After all, the Izzet can't be the only ones making them and there must be some way for them to come into existance non-deliberately.

I like this card, doesn't hold a candle to Flametongue Kavu but its still very fun to play a weird once in a while.

Better than it looks. A free Shock can go a ling way, and it's got decent toughness. At least it has some power, but, yes, two would be better.

Also, awesome art and flavour text. Since it's so much fun, I'll give it four.

A 1/3 for 4 may seem odd, but I bet a Blue/Red deck would appreciate him. Hmm.

Agreed with HuntedWumpusMustDie and ClockworkSwordfish: it should be a 2/3, since usually damage dealt by creature abilities is based on its power. Otherwise it should be a 1/4 to emphasize the blue part of this card. Or it should cost 2Blue, becasue 3Blue it's frankly a little too much, like a lot of Izzet cards (and I love Izzet).

However it has its uses, and it kills Flametongue Kavu! Not so powerful like its predecessor (that was a little over the curve), but it can deals damages to the opponent instead of only creature...!

And I agree even with A3Kitsune: Weird creatures should return!

3.5/5 for being fun and useful, but a little overpriced...

No. Just play Shock. Paying 3 more and losing instant speed is not worth it to get a 1/3 creature at this late in the game.

This guy is pretty beastly in Pauper. A creature and a Shock? Not too shabby.

Although this seems underpowered, this is played very commonly in one of the most dominant pauper decks, R/U Cloudpost Control, where it does an excellent job.

If the mana cost and the P/T had to stay the same, I think that the ability should've been remade from dealing 2 damage for spending R to cast it, into dealing 1 damage per R spent to cast it.

So... Does this remember what mana was used to cast it once it has entered the battlefield? i.e. if I ghostly flicker it, having spent Red to initially cast it, does it trigger its ETB 2 damage again?
