Quite good in multiplayer. It may as well read "RRR: Return Skarrgan Firebird from your graveyard to your hand. Do this basically whenever. Seriously, it's fine."

I get the feeling Bloodthirst was designed to teach players to play cards in the post-combat phase. And get them to attack more often. Both are things they want new players to understand.
