Really good card to slow your opponent down in the start, without losing any cards from your own hand.

Anything > 3 CMC you probably want Into the Roil instead. This is pretty good, but it would be really amazing if it could bounce lands too.

I don't think people quite understand this card's power in extended right now. for decks not running white (path to exile), this is the best answer to Marit Lage (CMC 0). It is blue path, they don't get a land, and you get to draw, sound good? also bounces pesky chalice of the void or engineered explosives dropped for 0. many uses, good card. 4/5

Powerful. It helps you in the early game (Bounce your Kird Ape), it is a catch-all answer should you tap out for a Keiga and something slipped by, and late game it's card advantage with Sensei's Divining Top (or at least cycles if you're not into tricks).

Protip: This has a hidden text box that reads "Destroy target creature token. Draw a card."
Better than it looks at first glance. An excellent early game tempo-builder.

@rubber "but it would be really amazing if it could bounce lands too. " In that case, this card would be: Instant Return target land to its owner's hand. Draw a card.
"Broken" gains a new meaning...
It's very versatile, even if Into the Roil is a little better, occasionally (for exemple agains reanimators)... However exiling a token for and draw a card is its best job!

Gotta love how the flavor text hints at actual game mechanics.
"Your activated ability cannot be undone. You, however, can be."

It was cool to read the comments and discover the token-destruction potential for this card -- thanks, Test Subject! -- but in my experience it has a more boring traditional purpose: this card sees Vintage play in Storm decks, because it cantrips for to bounce your Mana Crypt or Mox or whatever for repeat mana acceleration.
It's the truest cantrip, basically paying for itself by letting you replay a mana acceleration artifact. The net effect is +2 storm, sort of without expending cards (since repeal replaces itself) or mana (since you're getting to play and tap the bounced Mox a second time). Yeah, you're usually replaying Mox Ruby or whatever and getting instead of , but this is still as close to perfect cantripping as Vintage Storm can get.
The hilarious thing is, in Vintage you'd always use this to destroy your own tokens, never an opponent's -- nobody really uses cards to give themselves tokens, but decks using Oath of Druids try to dump a stupid token on you (with Forbidden Orchard type effects) so that they can Oath up their star quarterback. Apparently Repeal is anti-Oath tech!

Protip: this is one of the best anti-double-sided cards ever. That means Delver both loves and hates this card.

Tap 1 blue to bounce that Memnite AND draw a card!

Friend of mine made a second breakfast deck recently considering the past tournament. I just made a modern land destruction deck, this thing bounces back blooms like no tomorrow plus card advantage! :D

What if it's only deed was existing/having been cast? That makes the flavour text sound weird.
