One of the more interesting mechanics used in Magic this creature quickly becomes a pawn during a game, especially since it doesn't have haste, making it useful only during the early game...
Hydrogoose, I wouldn't say this is strictly better than Wild Nacatl, I would play this in a lifegain deck, while the Nacatl needs to be played in a multi-colored deck to be useful...

Lifegain, my nemesis, must you strike in green?! At least that doesn't really make it worth using.

The thing about Ghazban Ogre is it's really, really easy to break the supposed symmetry. Bear in mind that if you drop this turn one, you'll often be taking a 2-point chunk out of your opponent's life total on turn two, unless they chump it in which case hey! Card advantage. Even without lifegain (or direct damage, that works too :D), Ghazban Ogre negates its own drawback to some extent by being notably above the curve in body size and immediately putting the opponent on the defensive. It's a very nicely designed card in that respect, a good balance of subtlety and risk/reward.

So what happens if life totals are the same?
Do both changes proc and the order decided by its controller, or do neither proc?
In theory there should ALWAYS be a proc, because both players will always have life totals.

It would suck to play this guy, and then watch your opponent go TaigaKird Ape. Unless you had a bolt or something in your hand.

Then don't go first if you've playing with this.
@psyklone: When life totals are same then the oppenents isn't greater and no switch happens.

A fast and effective critter that deals damage early, thus sort of negating its drawback.

There is a reason why they don't make cards like this anymore. Cards like this make for very lopsided gameplay; if they can't deal with it, they will likely be quickly overwhelmed (2/2s for 1 were exceptionally efficient back then). If you summon this and they Lightning Bolt you, you're now very behind. In terms of risk-versus-reward this card is balanced; it creates a good mathematical game in the Game Theory sense, but I don't think it makes for a good Magic game.
