An interesting card, but obviously only works with Ante.

This card also enabled Chris Pikula to win the Invitional, thus this card indirectly led to Meddling Mage...

As much as I hated Ante, this is easily the best Ante card out there. Combos well with the black ante cards, especially Demonic Attorney, and it could save your butt if your ante was a really good card.

EVEN IF YOU WERE PLAYING ANTE, THIS WOULD ONLY MAKE EVERYONE HATE YOU ANYWAY.
Man, I'm glad I jumped into Magic on Mirrodin. Some of these early cards... Bleck.

The fact it lead Pikula for the win is pretty cool. THis card is amazing in Ante and lets you pull back lots of cards you could otherwise lose with effects like Demonic Attorny...

In Shandalar I tried to make a deck that got all the cards of the opponent. Two of these, Demonic Attorney, Tempest Efreet, Bronze Tablet, Time Twister, Regrowth, lots of control and way to get the opponent life under 10.

It didn't work as the ante buffer could only hold 10 cards. Bummer.

I have a Jeweled Bird with the Arabian Nights symbol, but a WHITE border, not black. Is it a fake? Does the border color mean nothing? Is my exact card not listed online here at Gathering? Any help is appreciated!
