A lot? It's an aura, it only effects one creature. Of course, it's still well worth it.

Sure, it's not a kill spell, but remember that most black kill spells can't deal with black creatures. This can. It's also a good way of disabling creatures like Sprouting Thrinax without triggering their graveyard effects. I've found it quite useful in casual play.

A lot of good creatues have 4 or less power. Even if they don't, it considerably lowers the amount of damage you/your creatures take.

Hey it does not have any kind of restrictions, and can shut down anything as powerful as serra angel for . Not bad at all. Still it doesnt answer many kinds of threats, like Elvish Archdruid for example.

3/5, only because white does it better with pacifism.
