Probably not. Bant doesn't include the color red, so you'd need to find a way to either include Mountains or obtain red mana (Boros Signet, I suppose), But that Rafiq, Of The Many card is better and standard legal, IIRC.

Oh. I'd been wondering why Slayers' Stronghold didn't include a signature ability like, say double strike.
