If this would only cost i would gladly use it in certain decks. But since it costs and we can't damage the player at all (for just 2 damage for example), i'll stick to the good old Fling instead.
Still an OK card for a nice damage output if you have chump blockers (which aren't quite as useful for Flinging), though.

Goblin grenade was cheeper and hit any target. But then again it wasn't an instant. But 2 cards for one... guess you COULD use a token... why am I trying to justify this card?! I'm just gonna use flame slash.

I see "As an additional cost, sacrifice a creature" and think "Cast this when a creature you control is about to die anyway." That way, it looks like a cheap but situational card instead of straight-up card disadvantage. Still, it's not going in any of my decks any time soon.
