Why did these Zombies last in the core sets as long as they did? They should have left when Pearled Unicorn did.

I honestly think Scathe Zombies became a joke card somewhere along the way... you know, Zombies never really die, you can't kill them permanently, and so on... and thus the Scathe Zombies stuck around forever.
