It's a strong, flying body and its soulshift lets you get something else expensive after it dies. Not too horrible.

A glutton for punishment card! Interesting effect. My inner Johnny demands that I set this guy up with Indestructible, and redirect tons of damage onto it. It is awfully expensive though, which really limits its use.. I'd almost rather see the ability on something much weaker but much cheaper as well.

the ability and soulshift are great but it is just SO expensive.... something 7 manna should be a game changer and this is not.
When you look at the 6cmc soulshift cards... i think you'll understand how good this card is.

I checked out the 6cmc soulshift cards and it definitely makes this one seem much more reasonable. I currently have one in my U/W Spirit deck and I'm pretty sure that having one will suffice for now...not convinced I'd run two of them.
Definitely like this creature though. Nightsoil Kami is a really neat spirit too.
