The first sentence of this card is good enough at 2 mana, solid 4/5 there, a very cool and useful combat trick if your on the defense. The samurai part is just a bonus if you're playing with samurai creature

All samurai have Bushido, which means when they untap and block they get another +X/+X added.

You can cast CoG for offense also.
