This was the first big nasty that I ever cracked out of a booster! Not only is it 8/8 and trample, (the largest creature I had ever seen) but it looks like a cross between Arnold and Swamp Thing! Boy was I hooked! I was not so jealous of my friends Lord of the Pit once I got this bad boy!

Yes, the Force really gets the Timmy juices flowing. Be careful not to power it out with too many mana creatures because it could really backfire when the opponent plays a Pyroclasm and you can't pay its upkeep. His upkeep downside can actually be an upside if you're facing blue creature stealing decks which should hesitate to touch it (well, if they don't counter or bounce it).

nuts to four Green's splash white and just CoP:Green the upkeep damage, or toss a Spirit link on him.

This card is great. One of my favorite fatties for a mono-green deck.

Personally, I like to Donate things like this to non-green players.

this guy's art is weird imo. he's the force of nature with GGGG on his mana cost and ability yet he is found in a swamp!

Upkeep costs can be skipped. The 8 damage he could deal to you can be redirected. Or it can simply not matter. It's only 8 damage. This is an 8/8 trampler for 6. You can also Fling it.

Ah, the good old days of smashing each other in the face with Forces of Nature, Pitlords, Shivan Dragons, Mahamoti Djinns, and... well, white didn't really have anything that big.

Anyway, this is a classic card that has been brutally outclassed over the years. Terra Stomper is directly superior: same casting cost, same size, includes trample and another ability, AND has no upkeep cost. And Terra Stomper is a $1 rare. Shows you just how far creatures have advanced.

That being said, in an all green deck, this guy will still end a game fast and, unlike the Terra Stomper, no blue player is going to steal him only to take 8 to the face each turn because he can't pay GGGG each upkeep.

Biggest creature in Limited Edition, with low mana cost and avoidable drawback.
What else does it need to be rated 5/5?

@bluemaxx Yes, it looks like a swamp!!! :D

It does have nostalgia on Terra Stomper, but as far as play, Stomper's got him beat in most situations.
