One of the best Ninja period, great in a reanimation deck. Try using it with Thraximundar and Grixis.

You guys are forgetting the other part of Ink-Eyes that makes her awesome, the fact that she is a rat. Ink-Eyes plus Night-Eyes means nothing stays dead for long. Go rat decks!

One of the only truly adorable things in magic: a respectable, good yet well-balanced Ninja.
From then one, all other interesting, off-the-beaten-path cards have been restricted and handicapped to pave way for the cards that they want players to use.
I couldn't see why getting a creature was so much better than destroying one with throat slitter for less mana. Then I noticed this ninja has 5 power and throat slitter only has 2. Great card.

Where are the ink-eyes on the picture? I can't even see her head.

I find it odd how we comment on the hotness of furry characters over human characters in this game. That aside, Ink-Eyes is a very efficient black creature beat-stick; 5/4 for 6 isn't that bad when you throw in regeneration, and a 5/4 for 5 with regeneration is even better. The yard-theft/reanimation is the icing on the cake.

@divine_exodus: Actually, in the pic, she doesn't have ink eyes, she more has blood fog eyes. The red trails are coming from her eyes, really creepy effect.
@TheSwarm: Yeah, me too! :( I have none so far, one of the few Betrayers cards I'm still missing. She shows up neither in the Rats' Nest nor the Ninjitsu PreCon deck...
Not only is it a fantastic card, it's a LEGENDARY RAT NINJA. That's sums up awesome in 3 words.

Given that... Yeah, she's still hot. Plus she's a badass and a martial artist.

I think Okiba-Gang Shinobi works well with this card. Almost in every way was both cards made for each other.
Black + Rat Ninja + Ninjutsu + Effects sort of gives both chemistry. I, however, do not like the fact that you can't bring creatures from your graveyard out. That is why the Okiba's effect is pretty efficient and can help Ink-Eyes effect.
THe one thing i find confusing is when she's called Ink-Eyes, and all i see in her eyes is a trail of red... fiery mist of whatever. I understand that she is a servant of oni's, but then call her "Blood-Eyes" or something if so.
Or maybe the people of Kamigawa are strange and like writing in red. Blood red... Interesting :P

Those eyes must make it hard for her to hide. Is she just such an amazing ninja that she needed a handicap?

Beast, make that either unblockable or hard to block and you'll soon have your opponent defenseless.

or maybe she had ink eye's before she became a servant of oni, and the red is ninja power/ oni power shing through her black eyes.

I find it interesting that she's the "servant of Oni" and yet she's more powerful and useful than the majority of actual Onis. Although, according to her story, "A Servant's Mission", the "oni" in question is actually Kuro, Pitlord, who is pretty damn badass of his own right.
Also, I like how she can slaughter her human blue counterpart, Higure, the Still Wind in combat, without even using her regeneration. She's fairly more powerful than him too, since contrarily to him she doesn't need the synergy of a Ninja deck to be playable. Nevertheless, they combo together in a blue-black deck as well - Higure can help bring her out, as well as make her unblockable for her reanimation effect to really kick in.
@Ferlord: You're not the only one to be bothered by this, and while the theory is interesting, I found out that the blood trails are a result of the recent power boost Kuro gave her. Presumably, her name dates from back when she still had black eyes, like any rat.

One of my few creature cards that I have that is on my no-trade mental list. Always seems to make a difference whenever I play her.
The second best Ninja IMO, beaten only by The Still Wind. Still, an excellent card with many uses. And the regenerate cost just for the LOLs.

I'm surprised and pleased that this card is rated so high. Usually, anything with a converted mana cost over five gets eight pages of "LOL DIES TO PUTREFY" and "Y U NOT GRAVE TITAN". Cards like this deserve respect.

I'm really surprised to see this break the 4.75 mark, but I love it.
@DacenOctavio, I think furry characters get more attention that way because of the minority effect, only the hottest human women need to be pointed out because everyone pretty much agrees, but when it comes to the anthros, it's the will of minoritys to be louder, they (we) feel the need to point ourselves out. Especially when MTG is just about the only 'main stream' (geek main stream is main stream to some extent) thing that dares let their artists appeal to anthro fans. By which I don't mean have anthros, but have have them drawn sexy. I give them credit for that. On the note, Throat Slitter's hotter. For a rat.

*Insert random "I hate furries" comment here*
Which is funny, because the only people who are talking about how she looks are the people worked into a heavy lather about how furries think she looks. Project much?
This card is really good, and I almost never see it in play. Even in a non-ninja deck, you're likely to be able to cheat her into play one way or another and then she's a regenerator that reanimates and hits for 5. What's not to like about that?
