Maybe as desperate limited filler...but a 3/3 (moonlighting as a 4/4 in combat) is really weak for 4WW. I know its a nice combat trick, but white has lots of cheaper and stronger tricks out there. More of Kamigawa block being terrible I guess.

Why does everyone hate Kamigawa so much? Okay, it's got some crap, but there are some very nice cards too.

Anyway, I don't see why you would want to use these guys rather than, say, Samurai Enforcers... but I don't think they deserve the worst rating of any Magic card. I mean, they're no Chimney Imp.

Just another overcosted Kamigawa card.

4.5/5. Broken beyond repair. Shame on Wizards.

When I drafted BoK, I went 5-0 with a Samurai deck. A surprise 4/4 blocker is worth 6 mana in more cases than you'd think.

Would be an interesting card if it blocked an additional creature,
since then it could grow to 5/5 and get the potential to 2-for-1 your opponent.
I think it would still be acceptable if it simply had Bushido 2 instead.

But like that, it just costs too much.
It's particularly bad if you can't make use of it as a (stronger) surprise blocker.

@Mode: I'm pretty sure Bushido only activates once, no matter how many times one blocks or becomes blocked. Still, it would still be much better if it could block twice, though as it is, it's only mediocre.
