No. It's an Instant, it only has "Sorcery" on it because of Portal set weirdness.

Some sorceries from Portal bent the timing rules and allowed them to be played during an opponent's turn. They have since been errataed to be instants, which I feel is a better decision than allowing certain exceptions to the rules.
But no matter if it's an instant or a sorcery with special rules, you can't ever kill your own creatures with this card. You can only cast it after you've been attacked, at which time you can't have attacking creatures of your own.

I find it odd that they've never printed a card exactly like this (besides the portal weirdness timing restriction) outside portal sets. They've done {3}{W} for an attacker or blocker, they've done {3}{W} for an additional life gain effect, they've even done {2}{W} for a 1/1 with {T}, sacrifice: this effect. The closest they've done is Pitfall Trap, which exchanges the ability to target fliers for a trap cost.
EDIT: Bam, and there it is, with Rebuke in Innistrad, less than a fortnight after I said that.
I like the word fortnight.
