I traded for one the other day. And I'm not rich at all.
I traded:
Baneslayer Angel x1
Silence (foily) x1
Narcomoeba (foily) x1
Scion of the Ur-Dragon x1
1 each of the planar chaos dragon cycle
Visara the Dreadful x1
A pile of commons & uncommons
Some other worthwhile stuff.

The sapphire was CE.

Th3_Dark_On3: The CE Sapphire is still worth more than $100.

24 moxes (4 of each + 4 mox diamonds), a dozen lands, and a bunch of instants, artifacts, and/or creatures, depending what rocks your boat. That and a few cards that make you keep on drawing, a lot. GAMEBREAKING =)

@Hydrogoose: Uh, no, this is way better than Llanowar Elves, for the following reasons: A) Llanowar Elves does not have haste, and therefore cannot use its tap ability turn 1, and B) This costs 0cmc, whereas LE costs 1cmc. What that means is that the best the Elves can do is get you generating 2 mana turn 2, whereas this can get you generating 2 mana turn 1. Also, because it costs 0 it means that if your opening hand has multiples you can drop them all at once, potentially getting as much as 5 mana turn 1.

I can't understand how many stupid people have managed to learn the game Magic and not see why these are better than Elves or Basic Lands. Some of you must have a hard time breathing with your head that far up your ass. Why don't you play against someone with your dumb elf or Land, like I have, and think you'll win with Basic lands, and maybe then you'll see why.

And these don't cost that much, but I do wonder why I didn't buy more when I started playing. You could get all 5 Moxes in Alpha, for like 5 dollars back then. In late 1994, they shot up QUICK and became worth like 40 dollars each, and then, they went straight up from there.

I'm guessing that those who say this is not as powerful as, say, elves or lands, have either started playing around the Alara block and think that Baneslayer is the coolest thing out there (*cough* terror *cough*), or are trolling the heck out of the rest of us.
Either way, those of us that know of the Mox's power are in a better position to dominate the world of Magic, and that's good enough for me.

All moxen work perfectly with the most broken land in the game, Tolarian Academy.

@Lateralis0ne:
Ive played since alara block. I have been trying to get some baneslayers. And i still think this card is epic and the 4th best card ever (recall, lotus and storm crow are in front).

One day, I will find one at a yard sale for twenty-five cents. Until that day, it's Herbal Poultice and a Sharpie.

Hehe, I remember Alpha. Back when there were no 4-cards rule:

20 Mox Sapphire
20 Ancestral Recall
20 Lord of Atlantis

They've got one of these (and a few other Power Nine cards) hanging in the card shop I play at. I've never bothered to look closely at the price, but I know it's 3 digits.

I am convinced the designers of the game 'Anti-Monopoly' play Magic: the Gathering. Go out and buy copy. I shit you not, one of the tokens you can choose to play as is a Mox Sapphire. My brother and I opened the box, glanced over the rules, determined the writers knew nothing at all about economics but maybe a lot about game design, and then we saw the piece of wood carved into a MOX SAPPHIRE....and promptly had a tug of war of it. We decided whoever controlled Mox Sapphire at the end of the tug of war should be declared the winner. This game is a lot more fun than actually playing Anti-Monopoly :)

I have wanted to possess this card for over 15 years. A few days ago I finally got one from my cute-ass Magic player of a wife.

Membership to the P-9 Club: $800.

A beautiful girl who loves you enough to get one of these for you: Absolutely f*cking priceless.

If Moxen were Legendary, and came into play tapped, they would be playable...not OP. The day may come where Springleaf Drum, Prismatic Lens, etc just hit you at the worst part of your mana curve...and that day requires 0 CMC mana: Pseudo-Moxen.

Money wise, this card is worth twice as much as Mox Ruby. So, what are we to take from this? One Blue mana is worth twice as much as one Red mana.

Blue is suppose to be the slowest of colors, therefore anything that speeds up blue is potentially abusive.

This, is simply abusive.
