Great in multiplayer, there should almost always be at least 1 player with more life then you.

Maybe good against another burn deck if you are both racing to see who can throw the most Lightning bolts and lava spikes. Or it would just get shocked, but then it would be one less card aimed at you.
In the right burn deck, an opponent should almost never have more life than you...if they do you're probably doing it wrong or have a very bad hand..
That said, it could maybe find a home in a {R}{B} deck, since black typically has cards that create an advantage in exchange for life, such as Dark Confidant or Sign in Blood which would help trigger the opponent having more life than you clause...helping you drag them down with you.

the whole "Keeper" Cycle that matches the Oaths are automatically fair and have long-lasting power to remain relevant in both Multiplayer and Casual for basically EVER ^_^
they are the card " Balance " as it SHOULD have been. they'll always be worth it for the first activation as a way to help you come back from behind :D
not Legacy playable like the Oaths, but still fantastic Design.
